Some of these have already been made into Roasted Green Tomato and Spinach Soup which is absolutely delicious. The remainder of the green ones will be made into soup tomorrow (there's plenty more spinach in the garden) and the ones that are ripening (they're ripe when they're orange, not red) will be used with some that are already ripe, to make tomato sauce.
The tomatoes have been a huge success, I harvested 24 kg in total.
What a glut of green tomatoes ! the soup sounds good , especially this weather !! I always used to make a chutney with some of the green tomatoes !( love h/m chutney with cold meats ,cheeses etc )
