I put this amaryllis outside, behind the compost bin, earlier in the summer and then I never gave it another thought. Chris found it a few days ago and it was growing! He repotted it and brought it into the house.
I have never had an amaryllis flower a second time until I got this one two years ago. It flowered magnificently the first year, producing two flowers and then again last year, again producing two flowers. I never thought it would flower again this year bit it looks as if it's going to.
