It’s been pouring with rain all day today with not much in the way of a photo opportunity.
Well, I’ve finished cleaning and tidying the house (everything sparkles!), the tree and all the decorations are up and looking good, the Christmas china is down from the loft and the turkey is defrosting. Sadly there will be no-one to share any of it with us 😥. I know that there are many people up and down the country in the same position as us and I’m very grateful that Chris and I have each other. We shall be doing a lot of zooming, FaceTimeing and WhatsApp video calling over the next few days and looking forward to better times in 2021. Roll on those vaccinations, I’ll be first in the queue with my sleeves rolled up when it’s my turn.
A Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year to all my 365 friends here and around the world.
We are blessed with both our children living close to us with their other half and a child each. We will meet at each other's house both on Christmas and on New year's day, starting with our house on Christmas eve. Wishing you long chats with your loved ones.
Such a lovely festive shot Sue...your tree looks lovely! Yes we are so lucky we aren’t on our own this Christmas even though family can’t visit. I’m sure you will have everything spot on just as if you had a house full. Have a wonderful quiet but happy Christmas!
Lovely assortment of baubles and tree ornaments ! Nice to have everything shipshape and in order in spite of Christmas being very different this year . We have to make the most of what we have and be grateful of still having escaped this horrible virus up to now .! Such a horribly wet day here too with news of flooding arouhd ! Happy Christmas to you and Chris and my we see a much brighter 2021
Pouring rain here too. Wising you and Chris A Merry Christmas!
