A couple of weeks ago I posted a picture of this witch hazel just as the flowers were beginning to open. I was a bit disappointed with the colour because I was expecting it to be a yellow/orange colour ( like the picture on the label) which I thought would brighten up this corner. It is rather nice now that more flowers have opened out but it’s still not the right colour. I googled it and discovered that it starts off red and gradually turns a yellow/orange colour. If it does change colour I’ll post another picture. Watch this space!
