We don't always go to Park Wood when we go to Hergest Croft because it's a bit of a trek and the ground is rough so it doesn't do Chris' bad knee any good. Anyhow on this occasion he took pain killers and off we went. It was stunning. A lot of rhododendrons were flowering. It's very sheltered there and seems to have it's own little micro climate. The
rhodendrons are always in full bloom there before anywhere else in the area,
