This is so useful for my seedlings. They've outgrown the windowsills inside the house but it's too cold for them to be outside, unprotected. I'd love to have a proper greenhouse but there just isn't room for one.
Useful addition. I had one several years ago when I was starting seeds at home. In the last few years I have pretty much given that up and contented myself with the perennials I already have and the annuals that I can buy from the garden centre. I do miss being able to grow some interesting varieties that aren't being mass produced by the growers.
@gardencat I haven’t grown anything from seed for a very long time but now that I’ve rekindled my interest in growing vegetables I’m quite keen to grow them from seed. At this time of the year when the seedlings are growing like crazy it can be very warm in the daytime but very cold, frosty even, at night so we can’t plant anything out into the garden. This little mini greenhouse should help to bridge the gap.
