The fact that I have this rose in my garden is all down to Beryl @beryl . Beryl posted a picture of her Masquerade, the climbing version, last year and it brought back lots of memories for me. It reminded me that my Dad had one in our garden when I was little and I was always fascinated by the different coloured flowers on the same bush. The flowers start off yellow, then they turn orange and finally red. I remember once accidentally breaking off a significant stem with a ball and I got into big trouble. Anyway soon after I saw Beryl's post I went online and ordered this lovely bush. It's doing well and it reminds me of my Dad.
So pleased that I encouraged you to look up this rose which brings back happy memories for you - My parent's Masquerade was a floribunda bush , but when I saw it in the climber form I had to buy it !! Such a lovely little bush !
