It was a very wet miserable day but we needed to get out of the house and have a bit of fresh air and excercise. We went to these National Trust Gardens near Haywards Heath where Martha lives. It was pouring with rain when we got there so we went straight to the coffee shop and had coffee and cake (we would have done that anyway even if it hadn't been raining). When we came back outside the rain had stopped so we had our walk. It was damp, misty and quite atmospheric and we felt much better afterwards. It's a shame that this impressive building is privately owned and not open to the public.
