We brought this camelia with us when we moved here in September 2017. It’s in the front garden and has settled in really well. The buds were showing colour on the 1st January but it’s taken until now for the whole shrub to look it’s best. It’s a good thing that the flowers open late because they rarely get damaged by frost
That is a late flowerer, our red one is still flowering but lots of petals on the ground everyday. Its transplanted really well. We should have taken some plants & a couple of small trees but we forgot with all the hassle…too late now!
