Martha and Chris had done a lot of preliminary work on the pond last month when Chris went there for a very short visit. They both worked really hard last weekend to get it finished and as you can see they were very pleased with themselves.
There was a small overgrown pond there already, with newts and some plants. The newts have found their way into the new pond and we took a few fish and some plants from our pond.
Ooh ! they have done a good job ! Such a pretty garden pond - I t will give Martha many hour of happiness as she watches the fish and pond life in future !
