Chris is feeling much better after his knee replacement. I was out most of the day yesterday and when I got home the first thing I saw was this amazing pie. We ate some of it for dinner and it tasted just as good as it looks. It’s sausage meat and piccalilli pie, a Yotam Ottolenghi recipe from one of the weekend supplements. I don’t like picallili but I wouldn’t have known it was there, it must just add subtle flavours. We’re having it for dinner again tonight and the rest is in the freezer.
Chris made a "huge" pie! and looks very tasty - He has achieved a beautiful glaze on that crust. I love the fact that part of it can go into the freezer, Well done Chris!
