Tilly and the Whet Stone

The whet stone is a glacial erratic boulder which has been deposited naturally on Hergest Ridge ( the monkey puzzle trees are nearby). It is thought that in medieval times it was used as a place to leave food for people suffering from leprosy or the plague.
Great capture
