Chris had an appointment with the optician in Hereford this morning so I went along too. I did a bit of shopping while he was with the optician but then we went for a bit of a walk. We walked to the cathedral and had coffee and a scone in the cathedral coffee shop and then we walked down to the river, went across a footbridge, walked along the opposite bank to the next bridge, the old road bridge and back to the town centre and car park. Hereford Cathedral is a beautiful building and steeped in history. It has one of six copies of The Magna Carta (Lincoln has the original), a chain library and The Mappa Mundi (something for you to google). It's a good place to take visitors and it's only 25 minutes from home.
Such a lovely castle & place to walk.
