Hettie is being unusually cooperative here. Until our recent visit Hettie treated Chris and me with suspicion. She wouldn't come close enough for a hug. She was a covid baby and hardly saw us for her first two and a half years. That all seems to be behind us now and she was just adorable and very loving when we visited last week.
How great that Hettie is starting to feel more comfortable with you. Can't believe how grown up she's looking - where's that time gone! I think it must have been strange for littlies in NZ when we started taking our masks off after being used to seeing faceless people everywhere.
