Will they ever recover?

I doubt it.
Before it snowed these daffodils at the base of the wisteria in a large tub were standing up like soldiers. They had mostly opened out and were looking lovely. Sadly they got flattened by the snow. Such a shame, I hadn't even managed to take a photo as I was waiting for the last few to open .

They actually still look pretty and bright even if they don't pop right back up to their previous erect state.

I picked some of mine today as they had blown over but I had to rinse them as they had bits of soil on them but they look nice now in my house
