New Brighton (on the Wirral, across the Mersey from Liverpool) has, for many years, been very tired and sad looking and much in need of some investment. Well this has obviously happened because it's a nice area now. It's quite art-y and there's an exhibition of street art, huge murals painted on buildings, houses, shops, pubs etc. The artwork is amazing. The top middle one says "I see the sea" and as you stand and look at it you can indeed see the sea.
