A Bit of a Mystery

We didn't plant this pretty little flower, it is self seeded. I don't really know what it is except that it's some kind of primula. It seems to be a cross between a cowslip and a primrose. Whatever it is it's very nice and another sign that spring isn't far away. Don't you just love it when this kind of thing happens.
Beautiful Sue - I had one of these mysteries growing in my garden - so lovely , unfortunately I dug it up to replant last autumn , but forgot yto replant it !I was so sorry !!

Pretty yellow flowers set against the bright green leaves (and so healthy looking!) Spring is sure knocking on the door, Sue! Fav

I would have said a primrose but you are much more knowledgeable than me. Our garden is full of similar….they get more & more!

I think it's a primula, they're a bit taller than a primrose
