The friends who came to visit at the weekend gave me a bunch of beautiful peonies, some pink , some white. I've never been given peonies as cut flowers but they were stunning. They didn't last long and the pink ones soon turned white but they were spectacular. I was so busy enjoying the weekend that I forgot to take a photo before the flowers opened out but I did manage to take some before they all turned white.
If I ever see peonies for sale as a cut flower I always buy some, my favourite & fir a certain time of the year easy to buy, I find they last longer than I expect & quite good value. I haven't seen any for sale yet!
