I have only ever seen a Redwing once before, about 20 years ago. This was taken on the same day as yesterday's treecreeper as I was walking on the path beside the River Wye in Builth Wells on my way to take a photo for Day 3 of my landscape challenge. Thank you again Beryl.
How lovely I have nit seen one since the cold snowy weather in the seventies !! when we had a couple coming to the garden for food --I had to look up to see what it was in my bird book !! So sad that now we see very little variety of even the regular garden birds let alone a visitor like the Redwing !
