When I was at the lake in Llandrindod Wells a couple of days ago I saw these ducks which I'd never seen before. They were quite small and very pretty.When I did my research I discovered that they are Call Ducks, the smallest breed of domestic duck. There are different variants and I think these are Apricot Call Ducks. There were 4 of them and they always stayed together. I like the yellow beaks and orange feet.
Very cute. Since I started 365 I've been amazed at the many different varieties of ducks in the world, and their different and often colourful markings. Thanks for adding yet another kind to my growing list.
