Dunnock

Not a brightly coloured little bird but very sweet nevertheless.

I will definitely have a good photographic record of all the birds, butterflies and flowers in the garden by the time we leave here.
That's a lovely sharp image, Sue.

this image is superb - the DOF is gorgeous and I think it's a beautiful bird. I find birds really hard to capture well as they can move so fast. FAV
I replied to your question about the koalas - thank you for being so interested!

@daveymo Thank you Dave.

@happypat The garden only has lawn at the moment but when we move we will lots of plants with us. For months now Chris has been putting things in pots. There are trees and a meadow beyond the garden so hopefully will mean birds too. Thanks for commenting Pat.

@rosiekind Thank you Rosie.

@judithdeacon Thank you Judith. Dunnocks usually seem to stay under bushes and definitely in the shadows. I got lucky with this one.

@koalagardens Thank you KG for your lovely comments. Some birds are easier than others to capture because they come closer and stay still for longer and sometimes I just get lucky. Thank you for answering my question re the koalas.

@cruiser Thank you Chris

@happysnaps Thank you Valerie. The subtle colours mean he's difficult to spot because he's usually in or under bushes.

@merrelyn Thank you Merrelyn, you're very kind.
