This was taken a couple of weeks ago on an rspb reserve near the Dee Estuary. The egret was a very long way off and a ranger pointed it out to me. I've never seen one before and was surprised how small it was. I know the cattle make it look small but it's even smaller than a little egret. It's not a great photo but it's the first one I have of this lovely bird. It's only identifying feature from this distance is the cow next to it :)
