A Snack Before the Rain

This was taken yesterday when it was very, very windy. It rained most of the day but when it did briefly stop the birds made a beeline for the feeders at the front of the house. It's a bit more sheltered there so those feeders are still standing.

reminds me of how the koalas just curl up while it rains, then the moment it stops they race to the treetops for a good feed, heedless of the wind :)
