Unknown Bird in Abu Dhabi

This bird was by the pool in our hotel grounds. I've tried in vain to identify it.

I shall have a look as you have got me puzzled. It looks like an adult, but could be a young bird so ID is tricky. Size is about what? Starling sized?

@g3xbm Yes, starling size. It was with the myna birds which is what I thought it was until I saw it on the computer screen. It had a bit of red under the wing but the photo showing the red wasn’t such a good one. I’ll email it to you to help you ID it. I’m counting on you 😁
