Not everyone's favourite subject for a photo but I had a good reason for taking this. We were visiting Christopher and his family and Finley had homework. He had to go for a walk looking for wildlife and taking photos if possible. Well, wasn't it lucky that grannie was visiting. We went to a park not far from their house and spotted a lot of birds, some of which I've already posted, and also lots of squirrels, including an albino. We weren't expecting to see a rat. We got very excited.
I'm OK with the rat as long it is in a field and far from my property but they do say that we are within 6ft away from a rat at any time ! ugh ! what a thought ! A lovely shot !
I’m with @beryl, don’t want to be up close with one! And it is said that we are never more than 6 feet away from a rat at any time - that seems too close for comfort!
I'm not sure why it is easier to find mice and squirrels more appealing than rats, but somehow it is. You've managed to make this one look about as mouse like and cute as possible.
