The kingfisher seems to have become a regular visitor. Unfortunately we have a temporary net on the pond to catch the leaves and this isn't making his life easy. Perhaps this isn't a bad this. We could spare a few baby goldfish but we don't want him to damage the bigger fish.
How amazing to have a kingfisher in your garden, part of me is envious but I do like all the fish in our garden pond and already have a heron and a grass snake to contend with, I think a kingfisher would be a step too far!
