These ducks have visited the pond in the garden for the last 3 years. They come 2 or 3 times and then we don't see them for another year. They don't stay around for long, the pond is quite close to the house and if they detect a slght movement inside the house they're off. This makes it difficult to photograph them, I have to stand far inside the room and that means that all sorts of obstacles get in the way.
