Slow Worms

These slow worms are in my son Christopher's garden. The irony is that Christopher's garden is very wildlife UNfriendly. They have artificial grass instead of a proper lawn!!! Slow worms are very rare yet they live underneath their artificial grass. The children love to see them.

Maybe the wildlife unfriendly conditions are what they like. Maybe being wildlife unfriendly means less animals that like to eat slow worms?
