Heron on the River Tees in Neasham, Darlington

We finally managed to get to my sister in law, Pat's house near Darlington after delaying for a week because of Chris' wisdom tooth problem.
I walked along the river bank and spotted this heron on the opposite side.

I think his pose with the hunched “shoulders” makes him look as if he’s cold! Nice shot!
