It's nice to be able to capture a woodpecker in a more natural setting than on the bird feeder although I must admit I was sitting at the breakfast table in my pyjamas taking pictures through the window. I wasn't exactly out in the countryside.
Such a fabulous capture ,and I agree with you it is so much better to see the birds in a more natural habitat than on a bird bird feeder ! He seems to be looking down while contemplating where to start pecking the tree again !! fav
