I must confess that I am actually starting to get a little bored with the endless long exposure misty water shots that seem so fashionable at the moment. Yes, it's a great effect, but it has been pretty much done to death.
I do appreciate that water shots are tricky and that agitated water can often look a bit crispy and messy. However I think water is very beautiful and the play of waves and ripples with natural reflections can be quite amazing. So over the past few days I have been trying to capture the beauty of water without misting it into oblivion.
