Although Subbuteo did actually produce a fishing game, Along with a hockey, snooker, cricket, golf rugby, motor racing, speedway, horse racing, and even cycling games, none of these caught on as well as the iconic football game. http://www.peter-upton.co.uk/sports.htm
However, I have no idea why this sculpture was made to look like a Subbuteo figure..... it's all a bit odd really.
