Before I take the decorations down, I wanted to take some shots of the beautiful quilts that my mother in law made for us. This one is hanging in our family room and I absolutely love it - the colors, the style,everything!
I'm taking this with my new 50 mm and it's taking some getting used to. I keep reaching up to change the distance and it doesn't work so I have to get used to actually moving myself.
This is so beautiful. I love quilts, use to make them as a teenager and my sisters took them to the beach, so I have none as a keepsake. This quilt is remarkable, the mother-in-law is very talented.
The is a stunning quilt. I have not made any Christmas quilts. Everytime I think about making one it is too close to Christmas and I don't start because I know I will never get it finished in time!
How beautiful! Would love to have that in my home. Thanks so much for your comments on my project - appreciated! Have fun with the nifty 50. I just upgraded to the 50 f/1.4 and waiting for it to be delivered. It does take some patience working with a fixed lens but worth the effort. :)
