Minuteman sunset

This is the minuteman statue near the old north bridge in Concord, Massachusetts.
Hello and Greetings from Edmonton. Great shot

HDR might have been a mistake here. I just noticed the tree branches that don't line up. It was a little breezy today. I've been consciously exploring all of the controls on my camera. I used the P mode for this shot. Now I see the difference between that and the Av or Tv modes. The P mode always tries to find a fast shutter speed, so it was always going back to a wide aperture after I changed it to something smaller. P mode is a good choice for getting the exposure right in a hurry, but for this shot, I was using a tripod. Av mode would have been a better choice.

That is gorgeous. Love the colours and silhouette. I would probably be tempted to crop it and lose around 2/3 of the trees on the left and all of the lake, but these things are so very personal. One of the joys of photography is everyone seeing something different and finding a different detail or meaning in an image.

@casablanca Sadly, that is not a lake. It is a flooded walking path.
