I'm so sorry to hear this, John. Lost my mother a few years ago, and now both parents are gone. My dad was only 62 when he died and my mom 69 - way too young. But, like you, I have a wonderful family and a happy-go-lucky 4-year-old grandson who lights up my world! Happy Easter to you and prayers all the way from South Carolina. :)
Those little cherubs will put a smile on your face.. so blessed with our Grandies.. got us through some sad times over the last couple of years with the loss of our daughter and Mum.. and yes every cloud does have a silver lining... just have to look for it at times.. great image for the album..
It is good you focus on the good. Your grandchildren are adorable, and I'm sure it helps having them around after the passing of your father. It is hard to lose people we love. But good to be grateful for the ones that are still here.
Cute shot John. Such beautiful children! I like the way they each got exactly the same treats - no arguing that way!! Special times to be cherished during an otherwise sad time.
@mccarth1 ..thankyou Kerry...yes i remember when i was young how we kids would make sure treats were divided up evenly..thanks for your kind thoughts too...dads funeral was yesterday and was a beautiful celebration of his life...cheers john
