King Parrot

Australia's aptly named King Parrot. This is the male bird of a pair that are regular visitors to our backyard. They are about 43cm in length and I never tire of watching them.

@nchild @tiastreasures Thanks. The King Parrot is definitely one of my favourites along with the Crimson Rosella but we don't get them in Brisbane. I am sure over the year I will be able to get a better shot of him (famous last words?)
