Another of our daily visitors is two pairs of Galahs. I tried to get a good pic of a pair but they wouldn't co-operate so I went with just the one. I don't know if it is a universal term but in Oz, to be called a Galah is like being told you are an idiot in a light hearted sort of way.
@tellefella Thanks John. You should have seen one of my attempts at a flight shot. Hilarious. Looked like it had been blasted out of the sky with a shot gun.
ha ha ha ha! I was wondering when the washing trolley and/or peg basket would make an appearance! now all you need is Old Man Emu (oh, and a Wedge-tailed Eagle)
@soniainhk You silly galah, You're better by far, Than a white cockatoo, or a budgerigar, they squeak and sqawk, and try to talk, why me and them's like cheese and chalk
@tahoemb Hi MB. Well it should be on your bucket list anyway. And Lake Tahoe wouldn't too shabby for a visit either. I get to tick one of my bucket list items in May when we do the Canadian Rockies, Inside Passage and then 6 nights in Alaska. I'll wave as we fly over.
