So Who was Len? by terryliv

So Who was Len?

Last Saturday (week) morning, before we left for Sydney, I went to a Bromeliad Soc show and this time I was unable to keep my hands in my pocket and ended up with a few purchases. This is Vriesea "Lucky Len". I don't know who Len was but he sure got lucky to develop this beauty. To give you an idea of size, it is a bit over 60cm across. You know I'm back home and feeling a bit lazy when the bromeliad shots start appearing.
Like your pov :)

It's an interesting plant, it's clever how it collects the water in the middle of the leaves.

But we love the Broms! This one's a beaut, Terry. I like how the background pink matches the tips of the bromeliad's leaves.
