What big teeth you've got

Went over to the botanical gardens with a particular shot in mind for today. Took the pics I wanted but then came across this Bearded Dragon who was obviously very accustomed to being fed by humans. He was incredibly quiet and was crawling around between my feet.
Have to go back again now to get the pics I was after.
Very cook and so happy in malevolent way.

Fabulous close up Poppo! Do they bite people?

Definitely hard to choose, but the mouth open showing those perfect teeth make him a winner :) Fav

Love the contrast between the soft colours inside its mouth and the scaly exterior. And the eye!

How many times has this happened to you now — you go collect some particular photos only to have them hit the cutting room floor because some charmer showed up at your feet. Fantastic macro shot. And a great candidate for the textured theme because this guy's got texture going on all over!

Fantastic shot. Have never got a photo of a water dragon with its mouth open. Well done.

Thank you everyone for your comments and fav's. I'll pass on your complements to Wally Water Dragon. They are very beautiful creatures.

@lyndemc Many times and more often than I have mentioned in my write ups. It usually boils down to "Will I be able to get this shot again"?

@pittcj17 I agree Cindy, I think they look very funny and I never noticed them until I saw the pics.

@gigiflower No, not in that sense of the word Sam. Those teeth are strictly for insects (and bits of bread)

@exposure4u I should have added Wendy that I am flattered to get a complement from the master - or is that mistress - whatever. :-)

@lyndemc I think I have now tagged it for the textured theme and the wild theme. Are they still going?
