Day 11: Banff Alberta
We had a day in Banff on Tuesday and I ended up with almost 500 pics for the day.
One of the included options on our tour was a chopper flight over the Rockies from Canmore, not far from Banff. For $160, we could upgrade to a 30min flight which we did. It was the best $320 we have ever spent. We have done quite a number of scenic flights in our travels but this one blew them all away. Absolutely stunning.
I loved the katabatic (?) wind blowing off the top of the mountain in this pic and the cloud in the valley below.

Breathtaking! Astounding! I am so totally envious, I'm turning a brilliant shade of spring green. What an amazing experience this had to've been, something this photo probably doesn't even come close to conveying. I needn't say 'enjoy your trip'... you definitely already are.
