City Beach is a man made beach in Brisbane's South Bank Parkland, just across the river from the CBD. It is popular all year round but as luck would have it, was closed to swimmers today for maintenance.
I posted 3 shots of city beach today but had no idea which one to use as the main one. Your opinions welcome as I usually get it wrong. Looks good on black.
Wonderful image Terry, lovely depth of field and composition, brings back great memories although water not deep swam there with my nieces young children in 2011 we all had a great time, has to be fav;)

I should have pointed out that the water you can see in the distance on the left behind the sandy beach and the Pandanus tree and the water between the black line (just in front of the white shades) and the earth bank in the far distance, is the river. So visually, the pool itself seems to run into the river which is a great effect
