Don't laugh. We have managed to pick up the toys and get rid of the play pen.
Everyone else has reviewed 2014 and been rabbiting on about how much they have learned after a year in 365. I decided that I should also review my year and like everyone else, have discovered I also learned much.
Here are the things that stand out from the past 365 days:
Crepescular Rays won’t kill you @hermann ;
Every day is a bad hair day for the mighty Merganser @richardhoeg ;
How to spell “silhouette” without having to think about it;
I knew Kiwis were a strange breed but some are off the scale @graemestevens ;
A Wigeon is not a typo pigeon but a dabbling duck (and I can sleep well tonight now that I know that) @richardhoeg or @mjalkotzy ;
It is very desirable to have a gimbal head (my head often feels as if it’s a bit gimgal) @sm61ffy ;
A bokeh behind the bouquet is OK
The tripod I bought 40+ years ago does have a use
The telephoto lens I was given 12 years does have a use (although the quality is a bit yuk)
Some people actually LOVE going to work @graemestevens@tomtom@gigiflower ;
Brisbane is much more photogenic than I ever imagined;
I completed Year 1 and managed to restrict the postings in my main album to photos taken on the day. It was a bit of hard work at times. For this year, I have relaxed this restriction and am allowing myself to post photos up to seven days old. This means that I must still use the camera at least once a week. I intend to use my "From the Archives" album to post older shots taken before I joined 365 which is what I originally set it up for.
Wonderful review!! Still laughing!! I am so pleased I was introduced to you by another 365er as I have loved seeing your daily photos and have enjoyed your great sense of humour!! Looking forward to 2015!! I hope you and Rhoda feel refreshed after your nap!! Lovely shot!!
Ha ha ha, I am so glad you are continuing Terry, I love your sense of humour. Hope you can stay awake long enough this year to take a few photos. Not got off to a good start.
Congratulations on completing your 365 project, I look forward to your 2015 images and wonderful comments, Just remember every day is a school day and old dogs do learn new tricks, lol, Happy New Year to you and your wife Terry;)
Good way to start the new year — relaxed! You've had an amazing flurry of activity at your house for the last couple of weeks, so a bit of kick-back, feet-up is in order.
Congratulations on reaching your first hear as well, well done. You have taken some amazing photos :-D that's a pretty good rule as well, I'm not going to be as strict on myself either. But I still want to learn my camera more, so that means more practicing so who knows what will come about this time around.
Looking forward to seeing your posts and have a great 2015 :-)
