Still trying to get a shot of the blue faced honeyeaters to match @gigiflower but this is what happens every time I try to get close to them. Stupid bloody things. I still think that Sam's was a plastic imitation that she stuck in the tree and then claimed it as the real deal.
Actually I rather like this one with the two birds at opposite points of their wing stroke.
@karlow75@terryliv HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA when somebody can find me a plastic imitation, please send it to me! I'd rather take 1 quick photo of a bird that doesn't move than dragging my heavy camera around the lake and taking hundreds of photos to get one good one!!!!!!!!
Ha ha, great shot. We have got a juvenile blue faced honey eater who visits our garden and I am determined to get a shot of him. He is so bloody quick though.
Well, I'm impressed. Any BIF is a tough photo subject. You managed to get them both within the frame which is more than I can say for lots of my flying parrots shots. (And I've got a captive audience. :)
Another great Ozzie bird; I really need to make travel plans. Keep trying Terry! Your previous shots demonstrate that eventually you will get what you're after.
