Grass, Beautiful Grass by terryliv

Grass, Beautiful Grass

Of the green variety.
Got off to a bad 365 start with the family visit since I had planned to get a shot of them all emerging out of the customs gate at the airport but they were too quick for us and were already through when we arrived.

Since living in Hong Kong, the thing the boys like the most about their visits to Oz is GRASS. There is precious little in Hong Kong.
Just reminder that this shot was taken at 4:30 in the afternoon in the middle of winter. Good old BrisVegas
Ahhh! The simple pleasures.

So pleased the boys still appreciate our wonderful green country! And stop rubbing it in about winter in BrisVegas :)
PS- We actually had a little sunshine for a few hours yesterday! You should have seen the people out and about at the breakwater, including me :)

Strange how you never think people can miss the simple things like grass. During the summer it rules my life. With my husband doing some contracting farm work he is either cutting, chopping, rowing up, wrapping, bailing, leading or mewing grass :) All this while my lawn is growing because he hasn't time to cut it :)

Lovely shot and no need to rub it in. It is freezing down here in NSW.

Another senior moment Terry I thought you where visiting Hong Kong, note to self read what is written and understand what it says, have a great time with the family, the grass is always greener back home:)

Some times you have to stop and smell the 'grass'. Hearing stories like this makes you appreciate the little thing.s
