Born Free

I thought I would post this shot for the benefit of all the southern 365ers who are always whinging about the weather and how cold it is. Don't know what they are on about.
Maggie on the beach at Point Lookout a couple of days ago. 26deg in the middle of winter.
Ahh Queensland. Beautiful one day . . . . .
You are just showing off. Down in Tassie is was snowing on the beach. Only one month of winter to go, woo hoo!

@karlow75 In Tassie? You must be kidding Kane.

Definite snow on the beach in Hobart!!! And the chill factor here at the moment is horrendous :( Love Maggie though :)

@gilbertwood No Denise. I was referring to Kane's claim that winter would be over in a month. Winter in Tassie finishes about 12 Feb and starts again on 13 Feb.

Yes. Where is winter this year? One brief appearance and gone again. You capture Maggie's joy and excitement so well in this shot Terry.

Oh this if wonderful Terry - such joy and freedom - love that both feet are off the ground!! Is this the best time to visit Australia? Temperature sounds perfect to me!!

I love all the negative space around her and her little shadow!

What a happy shot. Love the freedom it portrays.

You have caught her in the air, great shot of Miss Maggie!

There are many here in the USA's midwest that wish this is what winter looked like. Alas, the waves would be frozen in place and the sand would be as hard as cement. Lucky for Maggie, it's not like that at all. Great catch of her exuberance for getting to the water.

Great capture and I love how you caught her in the air! Nice one.

Beautiful in the sheer innocence of that darling child.

Okay Terry you don't have to rub it in. It was beautiful day here on sunday, 26 degrees, but it has gone a bit cooler now. Still sunny though so we can't complain. My daughter phoned from Melbourne yesterday and it was 8 degrees down there.
