Intermediate(?) Egret

I am going to stick my neck out (ha ha ha ) and say that this is an Intermediate Egret but I'm sure that someone out there will pick me up if I'm wrong :-)

Always a difficult one to tell them apart but I believe the bright orange bill is what distinguishes the intermediate. Lovely shot anyway.

When we were at Merritt Island my sister was constantly muttering about black legs, black feet, yellow feet. I guess this is one of the major ways you tell them apart.

Love this Terry! I have never been close enough to an egret to know there is a difference! I see them in the distance but they always fly away if I try to get closer! Great shot! Fav!
