Anatomy of a Good Surf Break 1 by terryliv

Anatomy of a Good Surf Break 1

An afternoon shot of the surf break at Snapper Rocks taken from Kirra Hill.
Snapper Rocks is top centre.
Rainbow Bay is the small bay top right.
The bottom of Greenmount is just below Rainbow Bay on the right.
Greenmount Beach is off to the right (not visible)
Then Coolangatta Beach at the bottom.
The construction at the top of Rainbow Bay is the stands for the Quicksilver/Roxy Pro which starts tomorrow (10 Mar)

When conditions are perfect, it is possible for a surfer to get on a wave at Snapper and ride it past Rainbow, Greenmount, Coolangatta, . . . . . . see http://365project.org/terryliv/directors-cut/2016-03-09
