The three grandsons from London (previously Hong Kong) on their way to the park during their recent visit. Connor is carrying Eoin with Declan as the wingman. The two elder boys dote on Eoin and in return, he idolises them. And yes, as you can tell from the names, there is an Irish connection.
Up loaded for the song title challenge.
I'm sure everyone knows this fabulous song from 1969 sung by the Hollies. In case you haven't heard it for a while, here is a link to a live version that you can sing along with. Enjoy https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jl5vi9ir49g
Such a sweet shot. I remember The Hollies well and met them a few times during my teenage years when I lived in Manchester. I had a boyfriend at the time who owned one of the discos in Manchester so we got to meet all the 60s bands.
How lovely to see this and to hear how close they are. So with your family now in London are you planning a visit to the UK? @onewing how exciting to have met the Hollies - I loved them and especially this song!
@onewing the nearest I got to the Hollies I attended their concert in March 1967 at De Montford Hall Leicester and what a great concert it was, happy days:) @terryliv
Lovely capture of brotherly love. Very fitting song title. I met all the Hollies when I was young.Bernie Calvert, the base guitarist was my Uncles brother. If my cousins went to see their Grandfather when we were visiting I used to go with them and the whole group used to be there often, practising new songs. I heard some of the songs long before they were released and some that never were! I still love to listen to their music.
@pamknowler Have a look at ShirleyB's posting Pam.
And yes, we are planning a trip to the UK later this year. Told Sonia we are not coming over though until she gets a bigger house :-)
@terryliv My husband took me to see the Hollies in concert at Carlisle a few years back now, and I was very disappointed. There were only 3 of the original group left which were Bobby Elliot,, the drummer, Terry Sylvester, guitarist and Alan Clark the lead singer. It is sad to sa,y but what disappointed me was, that Alan Clark seemed to have lost his singing voice, he didn't sound good at all.

The perfect song I sing for my late brother :(
