The underside of the paper wasp nest with the pupae(?) inside the cells. The nest, and it inhabitants, had been given a healthy dose of fly spray before this shot was taken.

Yep, I'm with you there. Our got a healthy dose of spray too. This must be the only insect that attacked when I was taking a photo. so they are now gone.

I don't imagine you will be going anywhere near the Margaret River to sample their produce but if you do, make sure you call into Adinfern Winery in Cowarimup and say hello to my cousin Jan Smith and her husband Merv. They own the winery and normally work the cellar door.
