Azure Kingfisher

Day 10 - Atherton Tablelands

Very excited to see this Azure Kingfisher in the rain forest at Millaa Millaa Falls. This is Nanna's photo and I know it is not the best but it is still a lot better than mine. He was a long way off and she was resting her 42x Nikon on my head to try to keep it steady.
The Azure Kingfisher is a small bird and is only 17-19cm long. Don't you just love his little short tail?
